Alex Hinson was appointed as RMS’ fifth President and CEO on October 1, 2021. He previously led the firm’s Investment Team as Executive Vice President, Investments. In that role he directed portfolio management, investment strategy, client relations and investment research. He also supported RMS’ business development, product development, transaction management and business strategy initiatives. Prior to joining RMS, Alex worked at Plum Creek Timber Company, a forest real estate investment trust (REIT), where he held a variety of leadership and management roles of increasing responsibility. Earlier in his career, Alex worked as an investment analyst and appraiser for a large forestry consulting firm and managed his family’s farming operations in South Carolina, where he was raised. Alex has served on the RMS Investment Committee and Board of Managers for a number of years. He holds a BA from the University of Virginia; a MFR degree (Master of Forest Resources) from the University of Georgia’s Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources; and, an MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owens Graduate School of Management

Ashlee Cribb is Vice President of Wood Products for PotlatchDeltic Corporation. She has 13 years’ experience in various forest products leadership roles, including operating profit center responsibilities. Her areas of expertise include sales, marketing, strategic planning and operations management. Prior to joining PotlatchDeltic, Ms. Cribb was Senior Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer for Roseburg Forest Products. Ms. Cribb previously held leadership positions at Georgia-Pacific including Vice President of Industrial Packaging. She also has 21 years of experience working in the chemical industry at Imerys Performance Minerals and Solutia, Inc. (formerly Monsanto). Ms. Cribb received an MBA from Washington University and a BChE, Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Eric Kingsley is a partner in Innovative Natural Resource Solutions LLC (INRS), a forest industry consulting firm with offices in New Hampshire and Maine. Since joining INRS in 2000, he has worked with dozens of parties on the development of new forest industries, and often works to deploy or create unique financial tools to support the industry. Eric also serves as the regional coordinator for the Forest Resources Association, a national trade association working to strengthen the entire forest industry supply chain. Eric has a Master’s Degree in Resource Economics from the University of New Hampshire, and served for five years as executive director of the New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association, a trade association representing all sectors of that state’s forest industry.
